Sprited Songs Festival-South Africa’s Amandla

There will be a screening of a music and songs from South Africa from during the times of apartheid. Just like the Negro Spriritual by African Americans black South Africans found ways to comfort themselves, build solidarity and sustain their hope for a liberated and non-racial South Africa. Katia Lara,the Hondurean director produced the documentary “Quién dijo Miedo: Honduras de un golpe” meaning “Who said fear:Hounduras hit”.Its a documentry about the recent governmen overthrow which happened in this Latin-American contry.
